- Distance from the house: about an hour and ten minutes' drive, plus a walk.
- Tip: Wear comfortable shoes for the descent, and bring water and food — there are no facilities on the beach.
3. Damouchari
A tiny fishing village and picturesque harbour where scenes from "Mamma Mia!" were filmed. A winning mix of rocks, blue water and a relaxed, bohemian atmosphere.
- Distance from the house: about an hour and 5 minutes' drive.
- Tip: There's no sand here — it's a pebble-and-rock beach; water shoes will make the day far more pleasant.
4. Papa Nero
A long, laid-back pebble beach near the village of Agios Ioannis, with turquoise water and tavernas along the waterline. One of the most comfortable beaches in the area, especially for families.

- Tip: The entry into the water is gentle — great with children too.
5. Agios Ioannis
One of the main beach resorts in Pelion: a promenade, restaurants, cafés and gentle nightlife. The easy choice for anyone who wants an organised beach with everything within reach.

6. Chorefto
A wide, long sandy beach below the village of Zagora — open, calm and perfect for walks and sunsets. Its northern stretch is especially quiet and wild.
